Working Principle:
The working principle of TONTEN Machinery jaw crusher machine is
very straightforward, with its core being extrusion and crushing.
Motor Drive: The electric motor drives the pulley via a V-belt.
Eccentric Shaft Rotation: The pulley rotates the eccentric shaft
(or main shaft).
Moving Jaw: The rotation of the eccentric shaft causes the
connected movable jaw to oscillate in a complex motion. This motion
traces a similar elliptical path: When the movable jaw approaches
the fixed jaw plate, it squeezes and rubs the material between the
two jaw plates, crushing it. When the movable jaw leaves the fixed
jaw plate, the crushed material is discharged from the discharge
port under its own weight.
Reciprocating Cycle: The motor continuously runs, causing the
movable jaw to perform a continuous reciprocating motion, achieving
continuous feeding, crushing, and discharge operations.
Structural Features:
1. Frame: The framework of the jaw crusher, requiring extremely
high strength and rigidity. It is typically welded from
high-quality steel plates or cast steel.
2. Moving and Fixed Jaw: The moving jaw is the movable crushing
component, while the fixed jaw is stationary. They are mounted with
jaw plates (also called tooth plates). These are the components
that come into direct contact with the material and are subject to
wear. They are typically made of wear-resistant materials such as
high-manganese steel.
3. Eccentric Shaft: The core transmission component. The eccentric
portion of the jaw crusher drives the moving jaw. It is the part
that bears the greatest stress and demands the highest process
standards in the entire equipment.
4. Jaw Plates: These are divided into moving and fixed jaw plates.
Their surfaces are typically serrated to enhance crushing
efficiency. The degree of wear on the jaw plates determines the
equipment's maintenance cycle.
5. Toggle Plate: Also known as the thrust plate, it serves two
important functions: transmitting force and acting as a safety
device. When uncrushable material (such as iron) enters the
crushing chamber, the toggle plate will break first due to
exceeding the designed stress, thus protecting core components such
as the eccentric shaft and frame from damage.
6. Adjustment Device: Used to adjust the size of the jaw crusher's
discharge opening to control the discharge particle size. Wedge or
shim adjustment is typically used.
7. Flywheel: Installed at both ends of the eccentric shaft. The
flywheel stores energy during the idle stroke (when the movable jaw
moves away from the fixed jaw) and releases that energy during the
working stroke (when squeezing material), ensuring smoother machine
operation.
8. Lubrication System: Mainly provides lubrication for key friction
pairs, such as the eccentric shaft and bearings. Common methods
include manual grease lubrication and centralized automatic
lubrication.
