250*1000 Type Primary Jaw Crusher Hard Rock Ore Aggregates Crushing Machine
The jaw crusher is a mechanical device designed to reduce large-sized raw materials (such as granite, limestone, iron ore, and concrete) into smaller, uniform particles. It operates on the principle of "compressive crushing" and is widely used in mining, construction, cement, metallurgy, and road-building industries. With a history of over a century, modern jaw crushers have evolved to be more energy-efficient, durable, and easy to maintain—meeting the high demands of today’s industrial workflows.
Working Principle
The jaw crusher works on a "crushing by compression" mechanism,
driven by an eccentric shaft:
1.Feeding: Raw materials are fed into the crushing cavity (between
the fixed jaw and movable jaw) via a hopper.
2.Crushing Process: The motor drives the eccentric shaft to rotate,
which pulls the movable jaw back and forth. When the movable jaw
moves toward the fixed jaw, the materials are squeezed, crushed,
and fractured; when it moves away, the crushed materials fall
through the discharge gap under gravity.
3.Continuous Output: This reciprocating motion repeats
continuously, achieving efficient, uniform crushing of large
materials into smaller particles.

Primary Jaw Crusher More Informations Key Features
①Robust & Durable Structure: Built with high-quality manganese
steel jaws (wear-resistant) and a heavy-duty frame, it withstands
extreme pressure and impact from hard materials.
②Adjustable Discharge Size: The gap between the fixed jaw and
movable jaw can be easily adjusted (via hydraulic or mechanical
systems), allowing flexible output particle sizes (from 50mm to
300mm) to match different production needs.
③Energy-Efficient Operation: Advanced eccentric shaft design and
optimized crushing cavity reduce power consumption by 10–15%
compared to traditional models, lowering your operational costs.
④Safe & Easy Maintenance: Large access doors and modular components
make it simple to inspect, replace parts (e.g., jaw plates), and
perform routine maintenance.
⑤Wide Material Compatibility: Handles almost all hard and
medium-hard materials (Mohs hardness 3–10), including granite,
basalt, quartz, iron ore, and construction waste.
Jaw Crusher Machine Typical Applications
①Mining Industry: Primary crushing of iron ore, copper ore, gold
ore, and coal to prepare materials for grinding and beneficiation.
②Construction & Infrastructure: Crushing limestone, granite, and
concrete aggregates for building foundations, highways, bridges,
and concrete mixing.
③Waste Recycling: Processing construction waste (bricks, concrete
blocks) into reusable aggregates, supporting environmental
sustainability.
④Cement & Metallurgy: Crushing raw materials (clay, iron ore) for
cement production and metal ore beneficiation.
