C4 resists stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion, even in hot mineral acids like hydrochloric and sulfuric acid. In bar, rod, and forging form, it’s used for valves, shafts, and structural parts. Wire is commonly applied in welding and corrosive spring environments. Plate and strip are ideal for lining vessels, heat exchangers, and scrubbers.
