Customizable Water Treatment Pumping System - Metering Pump
1 . Descriptions:
Metering pumps are special pumps that can accurately deliver
liquids and are used in a variety of industrial fields, including
wastewater treatment systems and pure water treatment systems,
where precise control of liquid flow is required. The working
principle of metering pumps is that the diaphragm or piston is
driven by the drive mechanism to carry out reciprocating motion to
change the volume of the pump chamber, thus accurately delivering
the liquid. The drive mechanism is usually driven by an electric
motor or pneumatic device, and the working cycle of the pump is
controlled by a mechanical or hydraulic transmission system.
In the suction phase, the diaphragm or piston retracts, increasing
the volume of the pump chamber, forming negative pressure, and
allowing liquid to enter the pump chamber through a check valve. In
the discharge phase, the diaphragm or piston moves forward,
decreasing the volume of the pump chamber, and the liquid is
discharged through another check valve. The flow rate of the
metering pump can be accurately adjusted by the adjusting screw or
electronic controller to ensure that the flow rate of the conveyed
liquid is precisely controlled, and the error is usually within
±1%. Wastewater treatment systems and pure water treatment systems
rely heavily on such precision for consistent operation.
