EN 10217-7 1.4301 Extruded Fin Tubes For Heaters And Coolers

EN 10217-7 is a European Standard that specifies the technical delivery conditions for welded stainless steel tubes intended for pressure purposes. 1.4301 is the material designation within that standard, corresponding to the common austenitic stainless steel grade AISI 304.

The extruded fin process creates a large surface area of highly conductive aluminum, dramatically improving heat transfer from the external gas to the internal fluid. The bond is excellent, minimizing thermal contact resistance.The general materials of base tubes about the extruded finned tube are carbon steel, copper, alloy, stainless steel ; the general materials of fins about the extruded finned tube are copper, aluminum 1060/1070, aluminum alloy 6063/6061.

Therefore, it is generally divided into four categories: steel aluminum composite finned tubes; copper aluminum composite finned tubes; pure aluminum composite finned tubes, pure copper composite finned tube.
