Silicon Nitride Ceramics High-Temperature Resistant Material For Automotive Engine Components And Gas Turbine Parts
Product Overview
This product is manufactured from high-performance silicon nitride
(Si₃N₄) ceramic material, featuring a dark gray cylindrical
structure with a precision-polished surface that is dense and
uniform. Designed as a hollow tube open at both ends, it is
available in two standard specifications (short and long) with an
internal surface smoothness of Ra ≤ 0.2 μm. Leveraging the
exceptional physical properties of silicon nitride ceramic, this
tube maintains stable mechanical performance under harsh conditions
such as high temperatures, corrosion, and wear, making it an ideal
basic component for precision industrial equipment.
Primary Applications
Insulating bushings and protective sleeves in high-temperature bearing systems
Guide roller components in semiconductor wafer handling equipment
Corrosive medium transfer pipelines in chemical processes
Protective focusing lens sleeves for laser cutting machines
Insulating protective housings for high-temperature sensors
Key Advantages
Flexural strength ≥ 600 MPa, hardness HRA 92-94
Temperature resistance up to 1300°C (in oxidizing atmosphere), thermal shock resistance ΔT ≥ 800°C
Wear resistance 5-8 times greater than alumina ceramic
Resistant to acid and alkali corrosion (except hydrofluoric acid)
Low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.2 × 10⁻⁶/K), excellent dimensional stability
Insulation resistance > 10¹⁴ Ω·cm

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What is the maximum pressure it can withstand?
A: Short specifications withstand pressure ≥ 80 MPa, long
specifications ≥ 50 MPa (requires calculation based on specific
dimensions).
Q: Can secondary machining be performed?
A: Internal wall polishing, end chamfering, and other finishing
processes are supported (process requirements must be provided).
Q: What are the advantages compared to zirconia tubes?
A: Higher heat resistance (by 400°C) and thermal conductivity (3
times greater), making it more suitable for high-temperature heat
dissipation scenarios.
