The KL99 SCBA is a positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus meticulously engineered for firefighters and industrial workers operating in oxygen-deficient or hazardous gas environments. This advanced respiratory protection system combines reliability, safety, and user comfort to meet the stringent demands of high-risk applications.

At the heart of the system is a full face mask crafted from flame-resistant silicone, designed for a secure and comfortable fit across diverse facial shapes and sizes. The mask features a spherical anti-fog visor that offers an expansive 91% field of view, ensuring clear visibility even in the most challenging conditions such as smoke-filled or low-light environments.

Air supply is managed through a demand valve capable of delivering ≥500 liters per minute with minimal breathing resistance, enhancing user comfort during strenuous activity. The valve incorporates a 360-degree quick-connect plug system, allowing rapid and secure attachment to the facepiece for efficient donning and doffing.

The ergonomically designed backplate assembly includes flame-retardant shoulder straps and a waist belt made from high-strength materials like KEVLAR or Nomex. These components work together to evenly distribute the apparatus’s weight, reducing wearer fatigue during extended use.
