Stainless steel acid sludge is a hazardous waste generated during the pickling process of stainless steel, containing metal elements such as nickel, chromium, iron, as well as harmful substances such as acid solution. The electric furnace for processing and recycling stainless steel acid sludge is a specialized equipment for harmless treatment and valuable metal recovery. The following is a related introduction:

furnace (2500KVA AC melting furnace). This process is simple,

3. Working principle
Heating and melting: Using the electrodes of an electric furnace to
apply current and generate Joule heat, stainless steel acid sludge
is melted at high temperatures. Generally speaking, the temperature
inside the electric furnace can reach 1500-1700 ℃. Under such high
temperature conditions, the organic matter in the acid sludge is
decomposed and evaporated, the water is evaporated, and the metal
composition undergoes physical and chemical changes, creating
conditions for subsequent separation and recovery.
Redox reaction: During the smelting process, an appropriate amount
of oxidant or reducing agent is added to the furnace to adjust the
redox atmosphere, so that valuable metals in stainless steel acid
sludge exist in a specific form for subsequent extraction. For
example, the addition of reducing agents can reduce oxides of
metals such as nickel and chromium to metallic elements or low
valence oxides, while iron may be oxidized to easily separable iron
oxides.

Efficient recovery of valuable metals: By precisely controlling the melting temperature and atmosphere,
valuable metals such as nickel, chromium, and iron in stainless
steel acid sludge can be effectively recovered. The recovery rate
of nickel and chromium can reach over 90%, and the recovery rate of
iron can also reach a high level, thereby achieving effective
utilization of resources and reducing production costs.
Harmless treatment: The high-temperature melting process can completely decompose the
organic matter in the acid sludge, eliminating its harm to the
environment. At the same time, through the treatment of exhaust gas
and wastewater by environmental protection systems, the emission of
pollutants can be effectively reduced, and the harmless treatment
of stainless steel acid sludge can be achieved, which meets
environmental protection requirements.
High degree of automation: Advanced control systems are adopted to achieve automated operations
in processes such as feeding, melting, discharging, and temperature
control, reducing manual intervention and improving production
efficiency and product quality stability. At the same time, the
automation system also has fault diagnosis and alarm functions,
which facilitate timely detection and handling of problems in the
production process.
Strong adaptability: Based on different sources and compositions of stainless steel
acid sludge, effective treatment and recovery of various stainless
