Working principle
The DCS automation control system collects various physical
quantities during the production process in real time through
on-site sensors, converts them into electrical or digital signals,
and transmits them to the on-site control station. The controller
in the on-site control station processes and calculates the
collected signals according to the pre-set control strategy,
generates corresponding control signals, and then adjusts and
controls the production process through the executing mechanism to
keep various parameters of the production process within the set
range, thereby achieving automated control of the production
process.
Characteristic:
Distributed control: The control function of the production process is decentralized to
various on-site control stations, and each control station can
independently complete the control of one or more production
processes, avoiding the risk of the entire production system being
paralyzed due to central controller failure.
Centralized management: Through the operator station and engineer station, the entire
production process is centrally monitored and managed. Operators
can real-time understand the operating status of the production
process in the central control room, perform unified operations and
scheduling, and improve the efficiency and level of production
management.
Flexibility and Scalability: The DCS system adopts a modular design, allowing users to
flexibly configure the system's hardware and software according to
the actual needs of the production process, conveniently increasing
or decreasing the number of control points and expanding the
system's functions.
High reliability: By adopting redundant technologies such as redundant controllers,
power supplies, communication networks, etc., the system's
reliability and fault tolerance are improved. At the same time, the
system has comprehensive self diagnosis and fault alarm functions,
which can timely detect and handle faults in the system, ensuring
the stable operation of the production process.
Strong real-time capability: With fast data collection and
processing capabilities, it can respond to various changes in the
production process in real time, adjust control strategies in a
timely manner, and ensure the quality and safety of the production
process.
