Working principle:
The multifunctional steelmaking electric arc furnace mainly relies
on three-phase AC power supply for operation. The current is
precisely transmitted to the electrode system through a specially
designed power supply system. High quality graphite material is
often used for electrodes to ensure stable conduction of current
and maintenance of arc stability under high temperature and high
current conditions. During the entire steelmaking process, with the
help of a high-precision electrode lifting control system, the
electrode position is adjusted in a timely and flexible manner
based on real-time reaction conditions and temperature changes in
the furnace, thereby accurately controlling the arc length and
achieving precise control over the size and distribution of heat
input into the furnace. This meets the strict temperature
requirements of different steel grades in each stage of the
smelting process and ensures the quality of molten steel.
Structural design:
1. Optimize furnace structure: The overall design of the furnace is compact and sturdy, and the
shell is made of high-quality heat-resistant stainless steel, which
not only effectively resists high-temperature radiation, but also
has excellent corrosion resistance, greatly extending the service
life of the equipment. The internal lining can flexibly select
alkaline, acidic or neutral refractory materials based on the
smelting characteristics of different steel grades. For example,
when smelting ordinary carbon steel, acidic refractory materials
can meet the demand; The furnace cover adopts a fast opening
water-cooled design, which facilitates the quick loading and
unloading of furnace materials. At the same time, through
circulating water cooling, the temperature of the furnace cover is
effectively reduced, its durability is improved, and the continuity
of the steelmaking process is ensured.
2. Precision electrode system: Three carefully crafted electrodes are arranged in an equilateral
triangle with precise precision, vertically passing through the
furnace cover and deep into the core reaction zone inside the
furnace. The electrode is connected to a specially customized
high-efficiency furnace transformer, which stably transmits
electrical energy to the electrode through low resistance, high
current carrying capacity cables and water-cooled conductive tubes.
The electrode holder adopts high-precision design, which can firmly
clamp the electrode and has good conductivity and heat dissipation
performance, ensuring stable operation of the electrode under high
temperature and high current conditions. In order to reduce the
loss of electrodes during smelting, the electrodes are treated with
special processes and have excellent conductivity, mechanical
strength, and thermal shock resistance. The impurity content is
strictly controlled to provide a stable and reliable heat source
for steelmaking.
3. Intelligent mechanical control system: Focused on the convenience and accuracy of steelmaking operations,
the multifunctional steelmaking electric arc furnace is equipped
with advanced mechanical control systems. Install three
high-precision electrode supports on one side of the furnace, each
supporting a high-resolution electrode lifting column. The lifting
column is equipped with a flexible horizontal electrode cross arm,
and the water-cooled electrode clamp at the end of the cross arm
can quickly respond to control system instructions and accurately
adjust the electrode position. The electrode lifting column can
capture subtle changes in the arc power inside the furnace in real
time. With precise instructions from the intelligent automatic
control system, the electrode position can be quickly and
accurately adjusted to maintain stable arc length and ensure
constant arc power input into the furnace throughout the smelting
process, meeting the strict temperature stability requirements of
different steel grades. In addition, there is a dedicated operating
platform between the furnace cover and the electrode cross arm,
which facilitates electrode connection and installation of the
furnace top opening and closing mechanism. The operation is simple
and efficient, significantly improving the convenience and
efficiency of production operations. The control system also has
remote monitoring and operation functions. Operators can monitor
various parameters inside the furnace in real time and operate
accurately through computer terminals in the control room far away
from the furnace body, ensuring personnel safety.
