Silicon manganese furnace use:
The main purpose of the furnace is to add qualified manganese ore,
silica, manganese rich slag, carbonaceous reducing agent, dolomite
or lime and other raw materials to the furnace according to a
certain proportion of ingredients. The high voltage power supply is
input by the mineral furnace transformer, short net system and
electrode holder, and the electrode is inserted into the charge for
submerged arc smelting. After a certain period of smelting, the
iron slag is removed to the high and low molten iron ladle, the
slag flows out through the low molten iron ladle, is quenched by
water to the slag pond to cool, and then hauled out of the car with
a grab bucket; Molten iron is broken after casting, and packaged
and stored in quantity after finishing. Process features:
self-baking electrode is selected, and the furnace lining is made
of carbon brick and high aluminum refractory brick. An electric
furnace with continuous feeding, intermittent iron discharge and
continuous operation.
Silicon manganese furnace equipment composition:
The mechanical part of the silicon manganese furnace is mainly
composed of the furnace shell, semi-enclosed (or fully enclosed)
low smoke hood system, electrode holder system (you can choose the
combined type holder or pressure ring type holder), short mesh
system, smoke exhaust system, distributing system, blanking system,
hydraulic system, pneumatic system, and electric furnace cooling
water system. Auxiliary equipment: batching system, feeding system,
iron system, slag system, casting equipment, product finishing
system, etc. The exhaust gas purification and recovery device uses
a large cloth bag cyclone dust removal device. The electrical part
of the silicon manganese furnace is composed of high voltage system
(switch station), low voltage system, large screen monitoring
system and automatic control system.
Main uses of silicon manganese alloy:
Silicon manganese alloy is an alloy composed of silicon, manganese,
iron and a small amount of carbon and other elements. It is a kind
of iron alloy with wide use and large yield. Its consumption
accounts for the second place in electric furnace ferroalloy
products. Manganese and silicon in manganese silicon alloy and
oxygen affinity is strong, in the use of manganese silicon alloy in
steelmaking, the resulting deoxidation products MnSiO3 and MnSiO4
melting point of 12700C and 13270C respectively, with low melting
point, large particles, easy to float, good deoxidation effect and
other advantages. Under the same conditions, using manganese or
silicon deoxidation alone, the burn loss rate is 46% and 37%,
respectively, while using manganese silicon alloy deoxidation, the
burn loss rate of both is 29%. Therefore, it has been widely used
in steelmaking, and its output growth rate is higher than the
average growth rate of ferroalloy, higher than the growth rate of
steel, becoming an indispensable composite deoxidizer and alloy
addition agent in the steel industry. Manganese silicon alloy with
carbon content below 1.9% is still used for the production of
medium and low carbon ferromanganese and electrosilicothermal metal
manganese semi-finished products.
