product brief introduction:
Induction furnaces with frequencies in the range of 150~10000 Hz
are called medium-frequency induction furnaces. Medium frequency
induction furnace is suitable for smelting high-quality steel and
alloy special smelting equipment, with fast melting speed, high
production efficiency, strong adaptability, flexible use,
electromagnetic stirring effect is good, easy to start operation,
liquid steel by slag thin cover (reduce air pollution to liquid
steel) and other advantages. The complete set of equipment of
medium frequency induction furnace includes: power supply and
electrical control part, furnace body part, transmission and water
cooling system.
Medium frequency induction furnace is especially suitable for 10kq
tens of tons of capacity of large, medium and small furnaces,
steel, cast iron and copper, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals
and their alloys for melting and liquid metal insulation, strong
adaptability to the charge, suitable for intermittent operation,
furnace structure and use of the same power frequency induction
furnace. Since the 1970s, with the increasing power and reliability
of high-efficiency stationary and metal-saving thyristor
intermediate frequency power supply, intermediate frequency furnace
has been rapidly developed at home and abroad, not only in small
and medium-sized capacity has obvious advantages and even in large
capacity is replacing power frequency centerless induction furnace.
product Make up:
The medium frequency induction furnace is made of a single coil of
copper tube, and there is a refractory knot-tied crucible in the
water-cooled induction to accommodate the melting metal. The
induction furnace is usually composed of four parts: the power
supply, the furnace body (mainly the induction ring and the
crucible prepared with refractory materials in the induction ring),
the capacitor bank (used to improve the power factor), the control
and the operating system.

Advantages:
Compared with the power frequency centerless induction furnace, the
medium frequency induction furnace has the following advantages
(1) Under the same capacity, the input power of the medium
frequency furnace is high, which can be 2 to 3 times that of the
power frequency furnace, thus greatly improving the melting rate of
the furnace and reducing power consumption.
(2) No need for residual molten liquid and large frit, can be
melted at any time, reduce power consumption,
(3) Each time you can pour all or part of the molten liquid, so the
operation flexibility is greater (4) the power conditioning is
convenient, and can adapt to the different requirements of melting,
heat preservation and oven power. (5) The operating frequency
changes with the resonant frequency of the load port, and
automatically makes the load loop maintain a high power factor, and
does not have to be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the load
capacitance like the power frequency furnace.
(6) Three-phase balance at the power frequency input end, it is not
necessary to set LC three-phase balance device like the power
frequency furnace - sample. (7) Under the same output, the capacity
of the intermediate frequency furnace is small, thus greatly
reducing the floor area, reducing infrastructure investment, and
improving the utilization rate of air storage.
