Spray nozzle temperature:
usually between 360 ℃ and 400 ℃. Some industrial grade 3D printers set the spray nozzle temperature to around 380 ℃ when printing
PEEK materials to ensure the fluidity of the material and ensure good adhesion between the printing layers.
Hot bed temperature :
Generally set between 120 ℃ -160 ℃, for example, setting the hot bed temperature to 140 ℃ can reduce the warping
phenomenon of parts caused by thermal stress in the early stage of printing and ensure that the bottom of the printed part is flat.
Chamber temperature:
preferably above 150 ℃, so that high crystallinity PEEK parts can be directly printed, resulting in better performance of the parts;
If the chamber temperature is between 60 ℃ -90 ℃, although printing can still be done, the printed parts will be in a low crystalline state,
and the performance indicators will be compromised.
Printing speed:
Due to the high melting point and viscosity of PEEK material, the printing speed is usually slower than that of ordinary materials (such as PLA),
usually between 20mm/s-40mm/s.
Pull back speed and distance :
The pull back speed is generally between 40mm/s-60mm/s, and the pull back distance is between 3mm-6mm. Pull back is to prevent the material
from being drawn due to gravity or viscosity during the movement of the nozzle.
Layer thickness parameter:
The layer height is usually between 0.1mm-0.3mm, and thinner layers can achieve higher surface quality, but the printing time will be
correspondingly extended; A thicker layer height can accelerate printing speed, but it may affect surface accuracy.
Filling rate:
Depending on the specific purpose of the printed part, for PEEK printed parts that require significant force, the filling rate can be set
between 60% and 80%; For some models that do not require high strength, the filling rate can be between 20% and 40%.
Fill pattern :
Common fill patterns include straight line filling, honeycomb filling, etc. For PEEK materials, honeycomb filling can reduce the amount
of material used while ensuring a certain strength.
