C276 flange Hastelloy N10276 plate bar 276 forging steel plate for desulfurization and deacidification.
N10276 was the first wrought, nickel-chromiummolybdenum material to
alleviate concerns over welding (by virtue of extremely low carbon
and silicon contents). As such, it was widely accepted in the
chemical process and associated industries, and now has a
50-year-old track record of proven performance in a vast
number of corrosive chemicals.
Like other nickel alloys, it is ductile, easy to form and weld, and
possesses exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking in
chloride-bearing solutions (a form of degradation to which the
austenitic stainless steels are prone). With its high chromium and
molybdenum contents, it is able to withstand both oxidizing and
non-oxidizing acids, and exhibits outstanding resistance to pitting
and crevice attack in the presence of chlorides and other halides.
Furthermore, it is very resistant to sulfide stress cracking and
stress corrosion cracking in sour, oilfield environments.

The performance of Hastelloy C276 plate at different temperatures is as follows:
High Temperature Stability: Hastelloy C276 shows excellent solid solution stability in high temperature environments, and its phase transition temperature mainly involves the stability of the γ phase. The alloy exhibits good solid solution stability below 1000°C (1832°F), allowing it to maintain its significant mechanical properties and corrosion resistance in high temperature environments
Pre-change Temperature: Hastelloy C276 typically has a pre-change
temperature of 700°C (1292°F) under prolonged high temperature
exposure. Above this temperature, the material may undergo phase
changes that affect its properties. Therefore, special attention
needs to be paid to the operating temperature range of the material
when designing applications
Intergranular corrosion and thermal sensitization zone: Hastelloy
C276 is very sensitive to intergranular corrosion under certain
external conditions. Especially after long-term aging in the range
of 650 to 1090°C, carbides or carbides will precipitate at the
grain boundaries. The accompanying production of intermetallic
compounds leads to the depletion of chromium and molybdenum,
resulting in intergranular corrosion in some media
Mechanical Properties: Hastelloy C276 has an elastic modulus of
210 GPa (30,000 ksi) and a yield strength of 690 MPa (100,000 psi)
at room temperature. These performance parameters allow it to
maintain good shape stability in high pressure and high temperature
environments.
