Overview:
BAREMUL SQO-31 is an innovative emulsifier, a mixture of polyether compounds, excelling as a powerful W/O emulsifier. It emulsifies a broad spectrum of oils to create creams with high water content (70-85%) and superior characteristics.
Features:
BAREMUL SQO-31 is a high-efficiency W/O emulsifier used at approximately 4% to create stable creams with high water phase. Suitable for emulsifying diverse oils and silicones. The resulting creams are glossy, fine, and non-sticky, exhibiting stability at 45°C and -17°C. The formulation process is simple, compatible with both cold and hot emulsification techniques. Thickeners and stabilizers can be added to the oil and water phases, respectively.
Cosmetic Applications:
Suitable for massage creams, sun protection lotions, hair care products, and makeup bases.
Usage:
- Use 4-5% of the emulsifier in the oil phase, slowly mix the water phase under high-speed stirring.
- For cold emulsification, add preservatives to the water phase and fragrance to the oil phase.
- When using heat, wait until the temperature is around 50°C before adding fragrance and preservatives.
- Maintain consistent homogenization speed and time across batches for consistent product quality.
