This XHGX507X underground cable pipe locator uses the electromagnetic field signal of the underground cable to
locate the cable, and gives the depth and current readings, so as
to realize the cable detection function.
Transmitter Features:
★Displays the current output frequency.
★Display the current output power; it can display low-grade,
mid-grade, high-grade and full-grade respectively.
★Display the current working mode; can display direct connection,
coupling, induction respectively.
★Displays the current loop current value; the effective display is
0-999 mA.
★Display the current loop impedance value; the effective display is
00001 - 20000 ohms.
★Indicates the current battery level; it is represented by a
battery symbol, all black is full power, and the left side is the
current battery percentage display.
Receiver Features:
The device shows the current receiving frequency value, which
starts at 577Hz when powered on. The signal strength is represented
in two ways: first, by the length of the grating that moves from
both sides to the middle, indicating that the signal is too strong
or out of range when the grating is full; and second, by a number
ranging from 00.0 to 99.9, with 99.9 indicating an overly strong or
out-of-range signal. A colored compass indicates the direction of
the pipeline, while the depth of the measured underground line and
the current on the line are also displayed. The gain is
automatically adjusted by default, covering a dynamic range of
000-140db, starting at 60db upon initial boot. The receiver can
display various signal reception modes, including narrow peak, wide
peak (default at power-on), trough, broad peak arrow, peak +
trough, and external equipment (which is automatically recognized).
The current battery level is indicated by a battery symbol. The
buzzer’s working status is shown with a horn symbol plus lines: one
line for low loudness, two for medium, three for high, and a cross
to turn it off (default at power-on). When the cable is turned off,
an arrow appears to indicate the cable location, with two arrows
appearing above the cable. When using the SS frequency, the device
displays the direction of the signal current to assist in
pathfinding and shows the signal’s phase, which can be cleared by
long-pressing the frequency key.
Function
1) It can quickly and effectively determine the direction and depth
of underground cable /metal pipelines. It can also identify power
outages and live cables, and use the A-frame to accurately locate
low-resistance cable faults to ground.
2) It has signal strength indication, left and right arrow
indication, and compass direction indication.
3) The maximum depth of the detection pipeline can reach 20 meters.
4) Automatic sounding: When the instrument is placed above the
pipeline, it will automatically display the true depth of the
target pipeline.
5) Signal identification: Accurate identification of cables from
three dimensions of signal amplitude, signal direction and signal
phase.
6) Current direction indication: It can track the current direction
and phase of the signal, effectively improving the accuracy of the
search path.
7) The 70% sounding method of automatic prompting can easily
determine the 70% signal point through graphics and prompt sounds.
