A4-80 T-Handle Quick Release Pins
Product Description:
What is a quick release pin?
Quick release pins, also known as ball lock pins, locking pins or
safety pins, have a wide range of applications. They are used for
securing, locking, connecting, adjusting and facilitating quick
position changes.
When paired with a receiver plate, these pins provide a reliable and secure locking feature. The design ensures ease of use and facilitates quick changeover and replacement of parts as needed.
Quick release pins are highly resistant to shear, corrosion and wear. This makes them ideal for applications that require frequent, quick, manual assembly and disassembly of products.
Quick release pins are fastening connectors for quick locking and removal of workpieces, and can be used to quickly connect and hook up components. Pressing the button on the handle can make the steel ball on the head of the pin body retract and push the quick release pin through the hole of the workpiece; when the button is released, the steel ball pops out and the quick release pin can not be pulled out from the hole.
The pin body diameter and clamping length are processed with high precision, which is suitable for all kinds of high-precision positioning and insertion. Can be customised according to customer's requirements.
Classification of quick release pins
Quick release pins are mainly used for manual quick mounting and
dismounting with a locking mechanism. Inserting the pin into the
hole will secure the relevant part. They use a clearance fit in the
hole created Nominal diameter And can be divided into two main
categories:
Push-pull pins, positive locking pins
Push-pull pins
Push-pull pins consist of a solid or hollow shank containing a
braking assembly in the form of locking lugs, buttons, or balls
supported by a resilient core, plug, or spring.
These pins are small in size, ranging from 0.002 to 0.004 inches to fit standard holes drilled to nominal diameter dimensions. Pullout loads may decrease as fit looseness increases. It is recommended that the edges of the holes be deburred or slightly chamfered to facilitate assembly.
The primary purpose of these pins is to hold the part under shear load. Ideally, the direction of the load should be perpendicular to the pin. The locking mechanism is intended to ensure a secure fixing and prevent accidental disassembly. These pins are not suitable for tensile loads
Positive Locking Pins
Forced locking pins have a locking action that is normally
independent of insertion and withdrawal forces. These pins are
primarily suitable for shear load applications and can withstand
some tensile loads without affecting their function.
Positive locking pins are divided into three groups:
Single-acting pins, double-acting pins, heavy-duty cotter pins.
Quick Release Pin Head and Handle Styles
Quick release pins usually have a pin and a handle and come in a
variety of handle styles. As such, they can also be categorised by
head/handle type:
T-Handle Quick Release Pins, Ring Handle Quick Release Pins,
L-Handle Quick Release Pins, Push Button Handle Quick Release Pins,
Double Acting Quick Release Pins, Lifting Pins
T-Handle A wide range of handles featuring a T-shaped handle for a firm grip and simple operation. Attached parts are easily released by pulling and holding the handle.
L-Handle Quick-Release Pins A compromise between the ring handle and T-Handle variants. The release mechanism has an L-shaped handle on only one side of the pin. These are suitable for applications where a firm grip is required but there are space constraints.
Applications
1, the basic knowledge of stainless steel
Stainless steel is an alloy material with corrosion resistance, and
its main components are an alloy of elements such as iron, chromium
and nickel. These elements can effectively resist oxidation and
corrosion, so that stainless steel has a high degree of durability
and aesthetics.
2, stainless steel maintenance methods
Cleaning
Keeping stainless steel products clean is an important part of
their maintenance. You can use mild detergents and soft cloth for
cleaning, avoid the use of detergents containing acidic and
alkaline components, so as not to damage the surface of stainless
steel. When removing dirt, you should try to avoid using irritating
cleaning tools to avoid scratching the stainless steel surface.
After cleaning, rinse with water and dry with a clean soft cloth.
3, the use of stain remover
For some stubborn dirt, you can use special stainless steel stain
remover for cleaning. But before using it, you should carefully
read and follow the instructions in the product manual. In
addition, stainless steel products on the dirt can be cleaned with
alcohol or vinegar, these common cleaners on stainless steel has a
certain decontamination effect.
