Both 304 and 303 are made of stainless steel, but their compositions are different. SUS303 and SUS304 are the names used in Japan, while in China they are respectively called Y1Cr18Ni9 and 0Cr18Ni9. In China, the international chemical element symbols and the national symbols are used to represent the chemical components, and the content of the components is indicated by Arabic letters. The difference in chemical composition between the two can be seen from their structural formulas. These two have excellent anti-corrosion capabilities, but 304 is better. The comparison of relevant materials and the experimental data show that stainless steel also rusts after 168 hours of salt spray test. In other cases, to achieve good anti-corrosion effects, anti-rust oil can be applied, but the effect is limited and inconvenient for production and installation. It mainly depends on what kind of effect you want to achieve and what kind of material to choose. Currently, the relatively standard sequence is: Common blue-white zinc-coated carbon steel < black-zinc-coated carbon steel < zinc-nickel-coated carbon steel < stainless steel.
