Isophorone diamine / IPDA is a chemical compound and specifically a diamine with the
formula (CH3)3C6H7(NH2)(CH2NH2). It's a diamine, meaning it has two amine (-NH2) functional groups,
attached to an isophorone backbone. IPDA is known for its high reactivity and is used as a curing agent
for epoxy resins, a building block for polyurethanes, and in various coatings, adhesives, and sealants.
