Main features of split solar street lights:
1.Component Separation Installation:
Major components like solar panels, LED luminaires, batteries, and
controllers are connected via cables instead of being integrated
into a single luminaire. Typically, solar panels are mounted on top
of street light poles or other unobstructed spots to ensure
sufficient exposure to sunlight, while the lamps and batteries can
be installed on the lower part of the street light poles or other
positions.
2.High Flexibility:
Due to the separation of individual components, the positions of
the panels and luminaires can be flexibly chosen and adjusted based
on the installation environment. Particularly in some shaded areas
(such as places with trees, buildings, or other sources of shade),
solar panels can be installed separately in unshaded locations,
ensuring that solar energy can be fully utilized.
3.Efficient Light Energy Conversion:
The split design enables solar panels and luminaires to be
positioned optimally independently, guaranteeing maximum collection
of solar energy and optimal illumination. During the day, solar
panels convert energy into electricity through sunlight and store
it in batteries, which then power the street lights at night.
4.Better Heat Dissipation:
Because the solar panels and LED fixtures are installed separately,
the heat dissipation effect of the battery and light source is
superior to that of the all-in-one design. LED luminaires will have
fewer heat dissipation issues, which helps to prolong the lifespan
of LED light sources and other components.
5.Easy Maintenance:
In a split design, each part is relatively independent. Therefore,
even if one part malfunctions, the others can still function
normally. During maintenance, it is also easier to replace faulty
parts individually without having to replace the entire luminaire.
Especially for tasks such as battery replacement and solar panel
cleaning, the split design makes them easy to carry out.
