Factory Directly Sale Light Pole Modern Lamp Post Galvanized Steel Split Type
Material properties of galvanized steel lamp posts:
1.High strength: The main body of the galvanized steel lamp post is
made of high-quality steel, which has high strength and rigidity.
It can withstand the lamp and possible external forces such as wind
and earthquake forces, ensuring the stability and safety of the
lamp post under various environmental conditions.
2.Corrosion resistance: Through the hot-dip galvanizing process, a
thick zinc layer is formed on the surface of the steel. The zinc
layer can effectively isolate air and moisture, preventing the
steel from rusting and corroding. Even in harsh outdoor
environments, such as damp coastal areas or heavily polluted
industrial zones, it can maintain excellent corrosion resistance
for a long time and extend the service life of the lamp post.
The manufacturing process of hot-dip galvanized lamp posts:
1.Cutting and blanking: According to the design requirements, steel
is cut to a certain length and size to obtain the blanks of each
component of the lamp post.
2.Forming processing: By using techniques such as bending and
rolling, the cut steel is processed into the shapes of lamp poles,
such as circles and polygons. For some lamp posts with special
shapes or specific requirements, welding, grinding and other
processes may also be necessary to ensure the appearance and
dimensional accuracy of the lamp posts.
3.Hot-dip galvanizing treatment: The formed lamp poles undergo
surface pretreatment to remove oil stains, rust and other
impurities, and then are placed in molten zinc liquid for hot-dip
galvanizing. During the hot-dip galvanizing process, the zinc
liquid will form a uniform and dense zinc layer on the surface of
the lamp post, with a thickness generally ranging from tens to
hundreds of microns. The specific thickness depends on the usage
environment and design requirements.
4.Surface treatment: The surface of the lamp post after hot-dip
galvanizing generally presents a silver-gray metallic luster. To
meet diverse aesthetic demands and further enhance corrosion
resistance, surface spraying treatment is sometimes carried out on
the lamp posts, such as applying various colors of paint or powder
coatings, to endow the lamp posts with better decorative properties
and weather resistance.
Maintenance and care:
1.Regular inspection: Regularly inspect the galvanized steel lamp
posts to check if there is any zinc coating peeling off, rusting,
deformation or other conditions on the surface of the lamp posts,
as well as whether the installation of the lamps is firm. If
problems are found, they should be repaired or dealt with in a
timely manner.
2.Cleaning and maintenance: Keep the surface of the lamp post clean
and regularly remove dust, dirt and other impurities with a clean
cloth or brush. Avoid using sharp or hard tools to scratch the
surface of the lamp post to prevent damage to the zinc layer or
coating.
3.Rust prevention treatment: For areas where the local zinc coating
is damaged or rusted, rust removal treatment should be carried out
in a timely manner, and the area should be repaired with galvanized
repair agent or paint to prevent further expansion of rust.
