Main features of split solar street lights:
1.Component Separation Installation:
The main components such as solar panels, LED luminaires, batteries
and controllers are connected by cables rather than integrated in a
single luminaire. Usually, solar panels are installed on top of
street light poles or other unobstructed places to ensure adequate
sunlight exposure, while lamps and batteries can be installed on
the lower part of street light poles or other locations.
2.High flexibility:
Since the individual components are separated, the position of the
panels and luminaires can be flexibly selected and adjusted
according to the installation environment. Especially in some
sheltered areas (e.g. trees, buildings, shade), solar panels can be
installed separately in an unsheltered location to ensure that the
solar energy can be fully utilized.
3.Efficient Light Energy Conversion:
The split design allows the solar panels and luminaires to be
optimally positioned separately, ensuring maximum solar energy
collection and illumination. During the day, solar panels convert
energy into electricity through sunlight and store it in batteries,
which illuminate street lights at night.
4.Better Heat Dissipation:
Since the solar panel and LED fixtures are installed separately,
the heat dissipation effect of the battery and light source is
better than that of the all-in-one design. LED luminaires will have
less heat dissipation problems, helping to extend the life of LED
light sources and other components.
5.Easy to maintain:
In a split design, the individual parts are relatively independent, so even if one part fails, the others will still work properly. It is also easier to replace faulty parts individually during maintenance, without having to replace the entire luminaire. Especially for battery replacement, cleaning solar panels, etc., the split design is easy to carry out,
