GRP Packaged Pump Station
The sewage pumping stations are designed specifically to pump sewage and wastewater containing solid material to a nearby sewer system when gravity cannot transfer it. This means pump stations are ideal for transferring water cost-effectively when gravity is not a feasible option (or not possible to be used at all). Sewage pumping stations come in various sizes for domestic, commercial and industrial applications.
Our Denor GRP Pumping Station is a fully prefabricated, assembled, and tested integrated pumping system in a factory. Its core structure—the cylinder (tank)—is made of GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic). It contains all the components needed to lift sewage, stormwater, or wastewater from a lower location to a higher-level pipe network or treatment facility.
Advantages of GRP (Why GRP?)
GRP is a composite material composed of glass fibers and
thermosetting resins such as unsaturated polyester resins. This
composite material gives the pumping station unparalleled performance:
Excellent Corrosion Resistance:
It is highly resistant to corrosion from domestic sewage,
industrial wastewater, stormwater, chemicals, and acidic and
alkaline substances in the soil. It will never rust and is far more
resistant to chemical degradation than concrete.
Extreme Strength and Rigidity:
The glass fibers provide extremely high tensile strength, while the
resin matrix distributes stress evenly. This makes the GRP cylinder
extremely strong and durable, capable of withstanding deep
overburden pressure, groundwater, and traffic loads.
Lightweight and High-Strength:
Although heavier than polyethylene (PE), GRP is significantly
stronger. Compared to concrete, GRP is extremely lightweight
(approximately one-quarter the weight of concrete), making it
easier and more economical to transport and install.
Extremely Long Service Life:
Thanks to its corrosion and aging resistance, GRP pump stations are
typically designed to last over 50 years, providing a very low-cost
solution over the entire lifecycle.
Smooth Interior:
The interior wall offers an extremely low coefficient of friction,
resulting in excellent hydraulic performance, effectively reducing
impurities from adhering to the wall and depositing, and minimizing
the risk of clogging.
Design Flexibility:
GRP is easy to form, allowing for flexible customization of the
cylinder diameter, depth, inlet and outlet locations, and internal
features (such as guide vanes and mud hoppers) to meet project
requirements.
Why Choose Our Integrated Sewage Pumping Stations?
