ZJ Horizontal Slurry Pump

ZJ Horizontal Slurry Pump is an anti-abrasion pump, belonging to axial, self-suction, single-stage, single suction, centrifugal slurry pumps. The flow-passing parts of this series of pumps are made of high-hard alloy cast iron, which has high abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance and impact resistance, thus extending the service life of the pump. The pump is divided into horizontal type (ZJ series) and vertical type (ZJL series) according to its structure. Horizontal pumps are divided into various specifications according to outlet diameter: 350mm, 300mm, 250mm, 200mm, 150mm, 100mm, 80mm, 65mm, 50mm, 40mm, etc.; each size of pump has different impeller diameters to choose from according to different lifts.

Working Principle of ZJ Horizontal Slurry Pump

Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid is thrown from the center of the impeller to the outer edge and gains energy, leaving the outer edge of the impeller at high speed and entering the volute pump casing. In the volute pump casing, the liquid decelerates due to the gradual expansion of the flow channel, and converts part of the kinetic energy into static pressure energy. Finally, it flows into the discharge pipe at a higher pressure and is sent to the required location. When the liquid flows from the center of the impeller to the outer edge, a certain vacuum is formed in the center of the impeller. Since the pressure above the liquid level in the storage tank is greater than the pressure at the pump inlet, the liquid is continuously pressed into the impeller.

Structural Features of ZJ Horizontal Slurry Pump:

• The large diameter and short cantilever ensure the rigidity of the shaft and are suitable for high power and harsh working conditions.

• The hardened stainless steel sleeve has a clearance fit with the shaft, and O-rings are installed at both ends to protect the shaft from wear and corrosion.

• Both the front and rear cover plates of the impeller have auxiliary blades, which can reduce backflow and reduce sealing pressure.

• The pump body and pump cover are made of ductile iron material with additional strong ribs to ensure the ability to withstand high pressure.

• The flow-passing parts are made of a variety of high-chromium anti-wear alloys or rubbers with different properties. They are resistant to abrasion, impact, and erosion, which greatly extends the service life of the pump.

• The impeller adopts methods such as wide flow channels and concave blades to improve overflow and anti-abrasion capabilities and extend service life.

• Shaft seals can be in the form of packing seals, auxiliary impeller seals, mechanical seals, etc. to meet the sealing requirements of different operating conditions.

• The pump outlet position can be installed and used at eight different angles at 45° intervals and rotated as needed.

• The bearing assembly is available with thin oil lubrication and grease lubrication. Choose the appropriate lubrication method according to different working conditions.
