Two-Component Polysulfide Sealant (Paste)

Product Introduction

The polysulfide building sealant is a two-component sealant that can self-vulcanize and cross-link at room temperature. It is formulated with liquid polysulfide rubber as the base material (Component A : Component B = 10 : 0.8 - 1.2). It has excellent adhesion to materials such as metals and concrete. It can maintain good airtightness and waterproofness under continuous expansion and contraction, vibration, and temperature changes. Moreover, it has excellent resistance to oil, solvents, and remarkable durability.

This sealant is suitable for the waterproof sealing of metal and concrete curtain wall joints, underground projects (such as tunnels and culverts), reservoirs, water storage tanks and other structures. It can also be used for the expansion and contraction sealing of expansion joints of highway pavements, airport runways, etc., as well as for the repair and restoration of cracks in buildings to achieve sealing.

Product Classification

a. According to fluidity, it can be divided into two types: non-sagging type (N) and self-leveling type (L); according to the displacement capacity, it can be divided into two levels: 25 and 20.
b. According to the tensile modulus, it can be divided into two sub-levels: high modulus (HM) and low modulus (LM).

Packaging Forms

Carton Packaging: The common specification is 25 kilograms per carton. The general size of the carton is 60cm×40cm×16cm, which contains 6 white plastic barrels inside. Among them, 5 barrels are Component A of the white polysulfide sealant, with each barrel weighing approximately 4.54 kilograms. The other 1 barrel is Component B of the black curing agent, which is packaged in 5 plastic packaging bags, and each bag weighs about 0.46 kilograms. In addition, each carton is equipped with a small bottle of primer solution.
Iron Barrel Packaging: It weighs 25 kilograms per barrel. Each barrel contains two plastic packaging bags. The large package is Component A of the white polysulfide sealant, weighing 22.7 kilograms, and the small package is Component B of the black curing agent, weighing 2.3 kilograms. Also, each barrel is equipped with a small bottle of primer solution.
