Introduction
RCS-1 is a rugged manet radios for secure on-the-move voice and
data communication with long range LOS and NLOS.
When perform a variety of missions in a hostile environment, the
RCS-1 can be rapidly provides secure self-forming and self-healing
voice communication network over greater distances with greater
numbers of terminal radios.
One box design contains all the accessories required such as
portable manet base station, handheld radios, different types of
antennas, batteries, battery charger, microphones, cables,etc.
Features
Secure voice and data wireless communication via an“infrastructureless"network
RCS-1 is base on wireless ad hoc multi-hop network. Each mobile base station works as a router to forward data packets to each other. The whole system doesnt rely on any fixed infrastructure, such as cellular coverage, fiber cable, IP connectivity, power cable,etc. It is non-routing (where no IP addressing or gateways are needed) for building a self-forming and self-healing voice communication networks.
Strong Resistance to Destruction
Wireless manet radio base stations can be powered by solar energy and built-in batteries. They do not require fiber optics, wired links, or computer rooms. They can withstand major natural disasters, including major earthquakes, floods, wind disasters, etc. At the same time, daily maintenance costs are also greatly reduced.
