Press Roll Basis Information

The press roll is the main component of the press section in paper machine, press roll is used for the press section quickly dewatering and add the physical properties of paper. There are many kinds of press rolls, such as vacuum press roll, groove press roll, blind hole press roll, etc.

Roll surface covered rubber, the purpose of the coating is not only to consider the corrosion resistance of the press roll but also to provide good elasticity to ease the pressing effect of the upper roll on the wet paper and felt, so as to prolong the service life of the felt and reduce the "embossing" of the wet paper. The elastic rubber-coated lower roll can also ensure good contact between the two rolls, even dehydration effect, and compensate for the error of the crown value of the lower roller.
