Precautions when using gate valves

1. Avoid being used as a regulating valve: A gate valve can only be used for full opening or closing, not for regulating flow and pressure. If it is used as a control valve, it will cause serious wear and tear of the valve, affecting its tightness.

2. Thermal insulation measures: The high-pressure gate valve needs to maintain good thermal insulation measures during use to avoid thermal stress caused by temperature difference in the valve body, valve stem and valve cover, resulting in deformation or stuck.

3. Uniform heating: The high-pressure steam gate valve needs to be heated uniformly when it is put into operation to prevent the uneven expansion of the valve stem, gate and valve body, resulting in deformation and jamming.

4. Regular inspection and maintenance: Including visual inspection, sealing inspection, operability inspection, cleaning maintenance, lubrication maintenance, protective measures and regular maintenance. These measures ensure the normal operation and prolonged service life of the gate valve.
