18CH Compact CWDM/CCWDM Mux with Free Space Optics – High-Density
Wavelength Management
Our 18-channel coarse wavelength division multiplexer integrates patented free-space optics technology to deliver ultra-low <2.0dB insertion loss and >35dB
channel isolation in a 1U rack-mount package.
Key Advantages:
* Breakthrough density: 18 wavelengths (1270~1610nm) in standard telecom rack space
* Zero-touch performance: <0.03dB thermal drift (-40°C to +85°C) with FSO alignment
* Protocol-agnostic: Supports 10G/25G/100G mixed traffic (Ethernet, CPRI, OTN)
* Plug-and-play deployment: Pre-configured channels with SC/LC/UPC connectors
Ideal for 5G midhaul, DCI, and hyperscale data centers requiring future-proof fiber capacity expansion. NEBS Level 3 certified.
HJY offers a compact CWDM module that provides bandwidth capacity
expansion for future network growth in one of the small packages.
Its compact size and unique carrier tray set it apart, and can be
installed in a variety of field situations.
The compact CWDM is ultra low loss, super thermal stability, and
excellent reliability, with smaller size compact design to save
much space in the application. Applicable to CWDM system and
optional special service

Unique Free-Space Technology
The CCWDM Mux adopts Free-Space technology, which uses light
propagating in free space to wirelessly transmit data. Inside the
device, adjacent signal channels are cascaded by parallel beam
instead of the fiber. This saves a lot of space for package box,
and the unique workmanship also helps CCWDM Mux Demux with low
insertion loss.
Comparison between CCWDM and CWDM
Insertion Loss <2.6 dB
The insertion loss of CCWDM Mux is about half of the conventional
CWDM Mux. This reduces the overall loss of the whole link, and
leaves more choices for the design of the solution.
Compact Package Design
CCWDM Mux uses the parallel beam for cascading instead of the
fiber, which saves significant space. The minimum dimension of
CCWDM aluminum box module is less than the 1/4 size of minimum CWDM
ABS pigtailed module.
