Production Description:
Modified Polycarbonate (PC) is engineered through a meticulous
process to enhance the inherent properties of standard PC
Key Advantages Over Standard PC:
Raw Material Selection: High - purity polycarbonate resin is chosen as the base material.
This resin is known for its transparency, impact resistance, and
thermal stability.
Modification Process: Additives such as impact modifiers, heat stabilizers, UV
absorbers, flame retardants, and reinforcing agents are added
according to specific requirements. These additives are blended
with the PC resin using high - efficiency mixers to ensure uniform
distribution.
Compounding Extrusion: The mixture is fed into a twin - screw extruder. Under high -
temperature and high - shear conditions, the materials are fully
melted, mixed, and plasticized into a homogeneous compound. The
extruder's temperature profile is carefully controlled to maintain
the quality and properties of the material.
Pelletizing: The extruded compound is cooled and cut into uniform pellets.
These pellets are the final form of the modified PC material and
are ready for further processing.
