Classification
Classification by turbine type: can be divided into mixed flow turbine generator, axial flow
turbine generator, impulse turbine generator, etc. Mixed flow type
is suitable for power stations with medium head and flow; axial
flow type is used for power stations with low head and large flow;
impulse type is used for power stations with high head and small
flow.
Classification by generator structure: there are horizontal turbine generators and vertical turbine
