Chilly Source Combination Methods
The KMT.S unit of the Lingyun series has three different chilly
source combination methods. Among them, KMA+KMU and KMW+KMU are
both combinations of one fluorine system and one chilled water
system, while KMU+KMU is a combination of two chilled water
systems. Each chilly source system can operate independently
without affecting each other, and can be manually or automatically
switched, offering higher control accuracy.
In the air-cooled and water-cooled systems, the indoor fan drives
air through the air-conditioning evaporator, transferring heat to
the refrigerant. In the air-cooled system, the outdoor condenser
removes heat through air, while in the water-cooled system, a plate
heat exchanger or shell-and-tube heat exchanger removes heat
through water.
The chilled water system is supplied with chilled water by the main
unit, and the chilled water coil removes heat from the air.
