Fracturing fluid
In oil and gas field fracturing operation, polyacrylamide is used
as thickening agent for fracturing fluid to increase the viscosity
of the fracturing fluid, so that it can bring fracturing sand into
the fracture more effectively. And keep the fracture open to
increase oil and gas production.
· Improve Oil Recovery:Polyacrylamide as a thickener can increase the viscosity of water
and oil. Improving the water-oil flow ratio, to form a
high-viscosity oil displacing agent. Promoting the flow of crude
oil in oil wells, so that more crude oil is driven out and the
recovery rate is increased.
· In tertiary oil recovery, one of the most widely used applications is ultra-partially
hydrolyzed high molecular weight polyacrylamide (HPAM).
High-viscosity polyacrylamide (HPAM) solution can improve the oil
driving efficiency and reduce the residual oil saturation. High
concentration of polyacrylamide can increase the recovery by more
than 20% on the basis of water drive, and overcome the defect of
alkali contamination to the formation.
· Water treatment: Wastewater generated in the process of oilfield mining (oily
wastewater) needs to be treated before discharge or reuse.
Polyacrylamide is widely used as a flocculant in oilfield
wastewater treatment. It can quickly settle suspended solids and
sediments in the water, , reduce the clogging and siltation of oil
wells. And improve wastewater treatment efficiency and water

extend the service life of oil wells. Oilfield sewage treatment,
polyacrylamide is an important class of synthetic organic polymer
flocculants. Compared with traditional inorganic flocculants,
