The slurry magnetic separator is a device that utilizes magnetic
force to separate magnetic substances from non - magnetic
substances in the slurry. For purifying ceramic billets, the main
type is the electromagnetic magnetic separator.
Inside the electromagnetic separator, there are electromagnetic
coils. When these coils are connected to the power supply, a strong
magnetic field is generated. When the ceramic body slurry
containing magnetic impurities passes through the magnetic field
area of the magnetic separator, according to the principles of
magnetism, the magnetic impurities will be affected by the magnetic
field force. Under the action of this magnetic force, the magnetic
impurities are adsorbed on the magnetic poles or magnetic media of
the magnetic separator, while the non - magnetic substances in the
ceramic body, which are not affected by the magnetic field,
continue to flow with the slurry, thus achieving the separation of
magnetic impurities from the ceramic body. In practical
applications, the magnetic field intensity can be flexibly adjusted
according to the content and nature of magnetic impurities in the
ceramic body and the requirements for the iron removal effect, so
as to achieve the desired iron removal result.
