1. Copper Etching:
Etching is the process of removing unwanted copper from a copper-clad substrate to create the desired pattern for the RFID tag's antenna or circuit. In this process, chemical solutions are used to selectively dissolve the copper areas that are not protected by a resist (masking) material.
2. Copper Stripping:
After the etching process, there may be residual photoresist or unwanted layers that need to be removed. Copper stripping (or photoresist stripping) is the process of removing these remaining materials from the etched PCB (Printed Circuit Board) to clean up the surface and make the RFID tag or antenna ready for further processes like testing or encapsulation.
