It acts as a major oxygen-consuming source in aquaculture systems

shrimp.Nitrite is a significant intermediate product of organic
decomposition in aquaculture water. It plays a pivotal role in the
dynamic nitrogen cycle of farming systems, though its unstable
nature can lead to reduction into toxic substances under anaerobic
conditions. This impairs blood oxygen-carrying capacity and may
even cause fatalities in fish and shrimp at severe levels.
This online water quality monitoring system enables continuous
