>>Overview
Iron is an essential trace element for the human body. While iron
itself is non-toxic, excessive intake or accidental overdose of
iron products can lead to iron poisoning. Acute iron poisoning primarily occurs in children, while chronic
cases are more common in adults over 45 years old, predominantly
males. Studies suggest iron toxicity may also trigger epilepsy.This
monitor operates autonomously under long-term unattended continuous operation based on field configurations. It is widely applicable to
industrial pollutant discharge wastewater, industrial process
wastewater, and similar scenarios. Depending on the complexity of
on-site testing conditions, optional preprocessing systems can be
integrated to ensure reliable testing processes, accurate results, and compliance with diverse operational demands.
>>Principle
The product employs the spectrophotometric method for iron detection. Under specific acidic conditions, ferrous
ions (Fe²⁺) in the sample react with an indicator to form a red-colored complex. The monitor detects this color intensity change, converts it
into iron concentration values, and outputs the results. The amount
of colored complex generated corresponds to the total iron
concentration.
