1. **Foundation bearing capacity inspection**
- **Soil condition assessment**: Before building a Bailey bridge, the soil conditions at the bridge base must be assessed to ensure that the soil is solid. If the soil bearing pressure does not meet the design requirements, the foundation under the bridge base must be expanded or reinforced.
- **Angle of repose pile setting**: When the bank slope is steep (greater than the angle of repose), the position of the angle of repose pile must be calculated and set according to the formula.


2. **Foundation reinforcement method**
- **Enlarge the foundation**: If the soil conditions are not good, the bearing capacity can be increased by expanding the foundation area.
- **Concrete reinforcement**: Pour the concrete foundation at the bridge base to ensure that the foundation is deep into the stable stratum and provides sufficient support.
- **Pile foundation reinforcement**: When necessary, the method of driving pile foundation can be used to enhance the stability of the foundation.


3. **Bridge seat design and construction**
