Overhead Bare Conductor All Aluminium Alloy Stranded AAAC,AAC,ACSR Cable
AAC - All Aluminum Conductor
Application
This all aluminum conductor is a kind of aluminum product made
through stranding aluminum wires. It is used for the electricity
distribution lines with short span length and small load-carrying
capability of the pole. The AAC provides reliable performance for
overhead power transmission and distribution lines. This standard
covers hard drawn circular aluminum wires for electric purposes to
be used as component wires of hard drawn aluminum stranded cables
and aluminum conductor steel reinforced.
Construction
AAC is a concentric-lay-stranded conductor consisting of aluminum
alloy 1350-H19 wires available in both single-layer and multi-layer
constructions.
AAAC - All Aluminum Alloy Conductor
Application
Used as bare overhead conductor for primary and secondary
distribution. Designed utilizing a high-strength aluminum-alloy to
achieve a high strength-to-weight ratio; affords good sag
characteristics.
ACSR - Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced
Construction
ACSR is a concentric-lay-stranded conductor consisting of a single
core wire or a stranded steel central core with one or more layers
of 1350 H19 stranded aluminum wires. The steel core wires are
protected from corrosion by galvanizing, aluminum-clad alloy or
zinc-5% aluminum mischmetal alloy coating. Standard, high, extra
and ultra high strength steel is also available.
ACSR / AW - Aluminum Conductor Aluminum Clad Steel Reinforced
Description
The aluminum conductor aluminum clad steel reinforced uses the
aluminum clad steel as its core part and high purity aluminum as
conductor. It features corrosion resistance, low resistance (LR),
high tensile strength and so on. It is used for power transmission
lines with large span length and high power. In addition to the
conventional stranding, the ACSR/AW has one-layer or multi-layer
reinforced conductors that are made of aluminum clad steel wires.
In different widths of aluminum conductor steel reinforced, the
aluminum conductor aluminum clad steel reinforced has its inner
part made of aluminum clad steel, with the aluminum wires stranding
around the core in a spiral manner and according to a certain rule.
Application
Having the advantages of corrosion resistance, high electric
conductivity, etc., the ACSR/AW is ideal for overhead power
transmission lines. With huge market potential, it is used for
high-voltage overhead transmission lines installed under highly
corrosive environments, electric railways, and so on.
