requirements, clarify the speed range and accuracy requirements of
the frequency converter.
Determine control mode: Choose appropriate control modes such as
manual control, automatic control, or remote control based on
actual control requirements.
2, Match motor parameters
Voltage and current matching: Ensure that the rated voltage and
current of the frequency converter match the rated voltage and
current of the motor.
Power matching: Choose a frequency converter with a rated power
equal to or slightly greater than the rated power of the motor to
ensure sufficient driving capability.
3, Consider load characteristics
Analyze load type: Select the appropriate frequency converter based
on load characteristics such as constant torque load, constant
power load, square torque load, etc.
Consider starting torque: For equipment that requires a large
starting torque, choose a frequency converter with the
corresponding starting torque capability.
4, Evaluate the working environment
Consider temperature, humidity, and dust: choose a frequency
converter with a protection level suitable for the working
environment requirements.
Consider electromagnetic compatibility: In environments with high
electromagnetic interference, choose a frequency converter with
good anti-interference ability.
5, Consider special application scenarios
Long cable operation: For situations where long cables operate,
consider whether the total length of the cables from the frequency
converter to the motor is within the allowable range of the
frequency converter. If necessary, choose a slightly larger
capacity frequency converter or install an output reactor at the
output end.
High temperature and high-altitude environments: In these special
environments, the frequency converter may experience reduced
capacity, so a slightly larger capacity frequency converter should
be selected.
High speed motor: The frequency converter used for high-speed
motors should be slightly larger than that of ordinary motors.
