The function of oil pump is to force the oil to the moving surface
of each part of the engine after the oil is raised to a certain
pressure. The structure of oil pump can be divided into gear type
and rotor type. Gear type oil pump is divided into internal gear
type and external gear wheel type, which is generally referred to
as gear type oil pump.
When the engine is working, the driving gear on the camshaft drives
the transmission gear of the oil pump to rotate the driving gear
fixed on the driving gear shaft, thereby driving the driven gear to
rotate in the opposite direction, and the oil is drawn from the oil
inlet chamber along the tooth gap. It is sent to the oil outlet
chamber with the pump wall. In this way, a low pressure is formed
at the oil inlet chamber to generate suction, and the oil in the
oil pan is sucked into the oil chamber. Due to the continuous
rotation of the main and driven gears, the oil is constantly
pressed to the required parts.

3. The gear swings the oil and flows from the oil inlet to the oil
outlet along the inner wall of the pump, forming a low pressure and
generating suction, and the oil in the oil tank is sucked into the
oil inlet;
4 1. The oil at the oil outlet accumulates more and more, so the
pressure increases, and the oil is sent to each friction part to
realize forced lubrication.
