2. Remove the cap, puncture the inner seal, and screw on the nozzle, cutting it to the desired bead size.
3. Apply even beads (1/16" to 1/8") around the perimeter of one surface.
4. Allow the engine silicone sealant to skin over before assembling parts.
5. Remove excess sealant with a knife and avoid over-tightening bolts.
6. Clean the nozzle and replace the cap tightly after use. If cured sealant forms in the nozzle, remove with a pin or paper clip.
