A5: Improper installation can cause leakage, valve jamming, or
shortened lifespan. Follow these rules:
- Cleanliness First: Flush the hydraulic pipeline before installation to remove metal
shavings, dust, or oil residues—impurities can scratch the valve
core or block ports.
- Port Alignment: Ensure the valve’s P/A/B/T ports match the pipeline labels
(misconnection may reverse actuator movement or damage the valve).
- Torque Control: Tighten threaded ports or flange bolts to the manufacturer’s
specified torque (e.g., M16 bolts: 25–30 N·m). Over-tightening may
deform the valve body; under-tightening causes oil leakage.
- Solenoid Protection: Install the solenoid coil vertically (if possible) to avoid water
or dust accumulation. For outdoor use, choose a coil with IP65/IP67
protection (e.g., 4WE6...-N9K4 = IP65).
- Orientation: Most models support horizontal/vertical installation, but avoid
upside-down mounting (gravity may affect core reset, especially for
spring-return valves).
A6: Compatibility depends on the sealing material (not the valve body, which is usually made of high-strength
aluminum alloy or cast iron):
- NBR Seals (U-suffix): Compatible with mineral oil (the most common hydraulic oil, e.g.,
ISO VG 32/46), water-glycol mixtures (up to 40% water), and
phosphate ester fluids (low concentration).
- FKM Seals (V-suffix): Compatible with high-temperature mineral oil, synthetic esters,
and aggressive fluids (e.g., diesel, lubricating oil).
Do not use vegetable-based oils with NBR seals—they cause swelling
and seal failure.
A7: To extend service life (typically 5,000–10,000 operating
hours), perform these checks every 3–6 months:
- Leakage Inspection: Check P/A/B/T port connections and solenoid coil O-rings for oil
stains. Replace worn O-rings (use original manufacturer parts to
ensure size/material matching).
- Filter Cleaning: Clean or replace the hydraulic system’s suction filter and return
filter (clogged filters reduce oil flow and cause core jamming).
- Solenoid Check: Measure the coil resistance with a multimeter (DC 24V coil: 30–40
Ω; AC 220V coil: 150–200 Ω). Abnormal resistance (e.g., 0 Ω = short
circuit, ∞ Ω = open circuit) means the coil needs replacement.
- Core Lubrication: For valves used in dusty environments, apply a small amount of
hydraulic oil to the core (via the valve’s oil filling port) to
reduce friction.
