Encoder disc (or encoder code wheel) is a critical component in optical/magnetic encoders, featuring precision-etched patterns to convert mechanical motion into digital signals. Our etched code disks ensure ±0.01mm accuracy for industrial automation, robotics, and motion control systems.

Encoder Discs Etching Process

1. Material Prep: Clean and degrease metal sheets.
2. Photoresist Coating: Apply UV-sensitive resist.
3. Exposure: Transfer flow field design via photomask.
4. Development: Remove unexposed resist to reveal etching areas.
5. Etching: Immerse in etchant to dissolve unprotected metal.
6. Strip & Clean: Remove residual resist and polish.
7. QC Inspection: Validate dimensions, conductivity, and surface finish.
