cells, while “006A” indicates a 6A continuous current rating,
making it ideal for medium-voltage, moderate-power devices that
demand stable protection without compromising efficiency.
6S-Tailored Protection & Calibrated Safety
Optimized for 6S battery configurations (nominal voltage: 22.2V for
Li-ion), this board delivers multi-layered safeguards calibrated to
6 individual cells:
- Overcharge Protection: Triggers when any cell exceeds 4.25V (Li-ion), instantly cutting
off charging current to prevent cell swelling, electrolyte leakage,
or thermal runaway—critical for 6S packs where cumulative voltage
amplifies overcharge risks.
- Undervoltage Protection: Shuts down discharge if a cell drops below 2.75V (Li-ion),
avoiding permanent capacity loss caused by “weak cells” that can
disable entire 6S systems.
- Overcurrent & Short-Circuit Protection: Blocks currents exceeding 6A (continuous) or 18A (peak),
shielding the 6S pack and connected devices from burnout during
high-load operation (e.g., small electric tool startups) or
accidental short circuits.
- 6-Cell Balancing: Automatically equalizes voltage across all 6 cells during
charging, eliminating uneven charge distribution—a common issue in
multi-cell packs—and ensuring each cell operates at peak
efficiency, extending the 6S pack’s lifespan by up to 30%.
