TRCS Series Drilling Mud Desander is a key component in solids control systems, serving as the second-stage treatment equipment to remove sand-sized particles from drilling fluid. Designed with high processing capacity, modular structure, and wear-resistant materials, it effectively separates solids ranging from 45μm to 75μm, helping to maintain stable mud properties and reduce wear on downstream equipment.

TR desander operates using centrifugal force generated in polyurethane or high-chrome alloy hydrocyclones. The drilling mud enters the cone under pressure, heavier solids spiral down along the cone wall to the bottom discharge port, while cleaner fluids exit from the overflow outlet. It can be used standalone or combined with an underflow shaker to further recover valuable drilling fluids.
