Usage purpose
The XBC diesel engine fire pump set is mainly used for boosting
water supply in fire protection system pipelines. It can also be
applied to industrial and urban water supply and drainage,
high-rise building pressurized water supply, long-distance water
supply, heating, bathroom, boiler cold and warm water circulation
pressurized air conditioning refrigeration system water supply and
equipment matching, and other occasions.
Structural description
The XBC diesel engine fire pump set is mainly composed of pump
body, pump cover, impeller, shaft, sealing ring, shaft sleeve, and
suspension bearing components according to the standard
requirements of GB6245-2006 "Fire Pump".
The pump body and pump cover of XBC diesel engine pump are divided
from the back of the impeller, which is commonly known as the rear
opening structure. Its advantage is that it is easy to maintain.
During maintenance, the pump body, suction pipeline, discharge
pipeline, and motor do not need to be moved. Only the middle
connecting piece of the (extended) coupling needs to be removed to
exit the rotor components for maintenance.
The pump casing (i.e. pump body and pump cover) constitutes the
working chamber of the pump. The impeller, shaft, and rolling
bearings are the rotors of the pump. The suspension bearing
components support the rotor components of the pump, while the
rolling bearings are subjected to radial and axial forces from the
pump.
In order to balance the axial force of the pump, most pumps are
equipped with sealing rings at the front and rear of the impeller,
and balance holes are provided on the rear cover plate of the
impeller. Due to the low axial force of some pumps, there are no
sealing rings or balance holes on the back of the impeller.
