EN ISO 1182 Building Materials Non Combustibility Test Apparatus - Scope of application
This test method for evaluating the combustion performance of
building materials under laboratory conditions. For composite
products, each component material of the product can be tested
separately and explained in the test report. This test is related
to the A1, A2, A1f1, and A2 f1 ratings in the building product
classification.

Test method
The sample is placed in the furnace, the thermocouple is inserted
into the center of the sample, and the test equipment is connected.
The exposure temperature is 750°C and the test time is 20 minutes.
The thermocouple temperature and burning time are recorded during
the test.

result evaluation
According to EN1182, the "combustibility" or "non-combustibility"
of materials is evaluated according to the following provisions:
The average temperature rise in the furnace should not exceed 50°C,
and the calculated average duration of the flame should not exceed
20S
After cooling, the average mass loss should not exceed 50% of the
average initial mass
Introduction:
Non-combustible material refers to a material that is heated by
fire even in the event of fire, even if it is burned red or melted.
The non-combustibility tester is developed according to ISO 1182
and GB/T 5464 non-combustibility test method for building
materials. Main application The non-combustibility test method for
building materials is suitable for testing the burning performance
classification of Class A fireproof materials in the burning
performance classification of building materials GB 8624. The
non-combustible test furnace can be applied to composite products
as well as to the materials of the components constituting the
product. The non-combustibility tester can also be applied to the
fire test of British building materials, railway locomotive
materials and non-metal products. The non-combustibility tester
test data includes the temperature rise in the furnace, the thermal
weight loss of the test sample, and the ignition time of the
sample.
