1.product introduction
The viscosity of metal melt and the viscous force of chemical
molten salt are a main physical quantity to quantitatively solve
the problems related to liquid flow behavior and reaction kinetics
in metallurgical processes, such as the floating separation process
of small bubbles of liquid metal and non-metal inclusion, or the
continuous detection of the viscosity and the change of the
corresponding composition of molten slag in the reaction process of
molten slag and metal. Key information on the slag/metal reaction
rate can be obtained.
If a container containing a liquid is suspended on a thin
suspension line and the container is given an initial torsion to
make it vibrate freely, the torsional pendulum vibration of the
system will slowly attenuate because the internal friction of the
liquid consumes vibration energy. According to this principle, the
data of liquid viscosity can be obtained by measuring the reduction
of vibration amplitude and vibration time of different liquid
samples.
