Product Introduction

The fully automatic float glass zebra horn testing instrument is a newly invented product by Lonroy. It can replace the human eye and automatically read the zebra horns of float glass through a computer. This detection equipment is considered as an advanced technology both domestically and internationally.

Using virtual Moiré technology, this fully computerized testing instrument is a necessary tool for measuring zebra horns in glass quality inspection. The zebra horn tester conducts tests on all types of flat glass zebra horns in accordance with the specified detection methods in ISO/TC160N63E-83, JISR3202-1996, EN572-2 and GB11614-2009 standards.

The zebra horn tester is accurate, fast and easy to operate. The measurement range of zebra horns is 0 - 75 degrees, the measurement accuracy is 0.2 degrees, the measurement repeatability is better than 1 degree, the test sample glass thickness is 1mm - 19mm, and the test results can display the positions of the heaviest 5 glass ribs. Moreover, the zebra horn tester also provides two measurement methods: manual and automatic. In the automatic mode, the computer directly reads the zebra horns of the tested sample.

Function Introduction

To facilitate comparison between humans and machines, this instrument is equipped with both manual and automatic functions.

When using the manual measurement function of the Zebra Horn tester, the rotation of the glass support is controlled by the operator themselves. The testing process is similar to the traditional Zebra Horn testing method. During the manual measurement process, the operator controls the rotation of the glass support through the computer keyboard. Each press of the keyboard rotates one degree, and when the operator determines that it is the critical angle, the angle indicated by the pointer on the turntable is the Zebra angle.

When using the automatic measurement function of the Zebra Horn tester, the operator only places the glass to be tested on the rotating support, and the other testing work will be automatically completed by the instrument. The instrument will automatically determine the critical state of the Zebra stripe deformation, and the Zebra angle measurement result will be automatically displayed on the computer screen, while showing the positions of the five heaviest glass ribs.
